Digital Precision:Optimizing Sunglass Design with SolidWorks

Turning creative ideas into production-ready components with unmatched precision and efficiency.

This page is a work in progress. More images and details will be added soon — thank you for your patience as we continue to enhance your experience.

SolidWorks plays a vital role in developing the unique style and structure of Mosevic sunglasses. Every frame is modeled in 3D to ensure that proportions, fit, and mechanical components—such as hinges and lens grooves—are perfectly aligned. This allows us to visualize and refine ideas quickly, long before the fabrication process begins.

The composite denim-resin material crafted by Mosevic behaves differently from conventional frame materials, requiring custom solutions. SolidWorks enables Jack to experiment with thickness, layering techniques, and reinforcement structures, modeling how the material will perform under real-world conditions.

SolidWorks also streamlines the transition from digital model to physical product. Once a design is finalized, the software produces precise technical drawings and CNC-ready files. This ensures that each cut and curve is consistent, whether machined or hand-finished, maintaining the handmade character of the sunglasses while benefiting from modern manufacturing accuracy.
